After a few years answering mail from prospective clients, I've just about worked out what are the
most common questions, so here they are all in one place. Of course if this doesn't do it for you, please get in touch
by clicking here.

How much does it cost?
Our fee varies depending on what you want us to do and may include expenses depending on how far we need to travel.
Please contact us for a quote - we are confident that we offer a great deal.
Do you have a demo CD?
Yes, and we will be delighted to send you a copy free of charge. Please email us if you would like one.
Extracts from the demo are available on the demos page; the demo CD has full versions of six or so songs.
What do you play?
We will select a range of songs from our repertoire to suit the event and we play around 40 songs in a typical gig.

. Of course, choosing the set list is all part of the service,
so please don't feel you need to choose the songs but if there is a song on the list you particularly want, let us know.
How long do you play for?
Typically we play 2 - 2.5 hours in two sets. The precise timings are up to you and we are always prepared to be flexible.
How far will you travel?
We are based in and around North London and most of our gigs have been within the M25 or Hertfordshire, Essex and Bedfordshire.
But we are prepared to go just about anywhere if the price is right and we have had bookings as far afield as Kent, Warwickshire and Newcastle.
For these long distance gigs we will include the additional travel expenses as part of our quote.
Do you have a PA?
Yes.
Do you have lights?
Yes, we have our own disco lights.
Can you play CDs/tapes/MP3s/whatever before/after/during the breaks?
Yes, our PA has auxiliary audio inputs to allow this. We are happy to play your own background music or we can supply our own mix tapes or CDs.
Will you play our special song?
We are always happy to play your song as a CD.
Occasionally we have learned songs specifically, so if you have something in mind let us know. Please bear in mind that not all songs are suitable for a guitar-based band and not all songs will fit our style: the bottom line is we would rather not play a song at all than play it badly. That said, we are always looking to expand our repertoire and it doesn't hurt to ask - we will consider most songs, but we can't promise anything. If you choose something guitar-based from the 60s or 70s you are definitely in with a shout.
Is it OK if we book a DJ as well?
Of course, but it is worth sharing our song list with the DJ to avoid duplicate songs.
Don't forget to tell the DJ there is a band (and vice versa) - we have had a couple of interesting experiences in the past where neither expected additional entertainment.

How much space do you need?
Difficult to say exactly - we have squeezed ourselves onto some really small 'stages' over the years.
If you have any doubts, please ask. All we ask is for somewhere firm and level...and dry!
What power do you need?
We need a minimum of eight power sockets for our amplification and lights. None of our gear draws a great amount of power so we don't need anything special.
How long do you need to set up?
This usually takes about an hour and we always aim to be set up and out of the way before the first guests are due to arrive.
By far the most important thing is the sound check and we will spend around 10-15 minutes doing this.
Sometimes the nature of the venue can make this awkward but I'm sure you appreciate it needs to be done and we will keep the intrusion to a minimum.
That all sounds great. How do I make a booking?
To secure the booking we ask for a £100 non-refundable deposit with the balance in cash on the night.
Please email me for the address.
